POETRY IS IN THE AIR!

In the Primary School we are all getting ready for our Annual Verse Competition that will take place on Thursday May 17th.

For the last two weeks all our children have been learning and reciting lovely poems. Once again, we have the privilege of having Miss Silvia Mackenzie helping children to learn the poems, polish their sounds and express themselves clearly and lively.

On Thursday 17th we will be gathering in the Centennial Hall to listen to the candidates who have been chosen to represent each Form. Our judges will then decide who the winners are! Those children will represent our school in the Annual Verse Competition to be held at Barker College in the month of June.

We are very proud of our students for having learned the poems and for reciting them so enthusiastically! Well done! We wish you all the very best!
